Technical and security information
When you visit or interact with the website, our hosting environment and security controls may automatically process limited technical information. This may include your IP address, browser or device information, referring page, requested URL, request time, and server log information.
The contact-form processor also uses limited technical information to validate requests, prevent abuse, and apply a rolling submission limit. Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, health information, or other highly sensitive personal information through the general contact form.
03
How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- Review and respond to website-review requests and project inquiries
- Assess a website you have asked us to review
- Discuss services, scope, availability, pricing, and next steps
- Prepare proposals, project documentation, and service communications
- Provide, administer, and support agreed services

We do not use contact-form submissions to automatically add people to a marketing list. We will seek any consent required before sending optional marketing communications.
04
Lawful bases for processing
The legal basis we rely on depends on the purpose and the law that applies. It may include:
- Steps requested before entering a contract: reviewing an inquiry, discussing requirements, and preparing a proposal.
- Performance of a contract: delivering and supporting services you have agreed to purchase.
- Legitimate interests: operating a secure website, responding to business inquiries, keeping appropriate records, and protecting the studio from misuse.
- Legal obligations: retaining or disclosing information where required by applicable law.
- Consent: where consent is the appropriate basis, including certain optional communications or non-essential tracking technologies.
05
How information is shared
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share or allow limited access to information with:
- Website-hosting, domain, email, security, backup, analytics, or technical service providers, including Hostinger for current hosting and business email
- Professional advisers such as accountants, insurers, or legal advisers where reasonably necessary
- Authorities, regulators, courts, or other parties where disclosure is required by law or needed to protect rights and safety
- A buyer, successor, or relevant adviser if the studio or part of its business is reorganized, transferred, or sold
Service providers are expected to handle information only for the purposes for which access is provided and to apply appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
06
International processing
PorchPixel Studio operates remotely and may work with service providers or clients located in different countries. As a result, personal information may be processed outside the country where you live.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will use an appropriate transfer mechanism or rely on another lawful basis for the transfer.
07
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including communication, project administration, legal claims, accounting, security, and recordkeeping.
Ordinary inquiries that do not become active projects are generally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful communication. Information connected to an active or completed client project may be retained for longer where needed to perform the agreement, maintain project records, meet financial or legal obligations, or resolve a dispute.
Anti-spam and rate-limiting information is used for short security windows. Backup copies and hosting logs may remain for a limited period according to the relevant provider’s technical retention cycle.
08
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. These measures may include HTTPS, restricted account access, server-side form validation, spam controls, rate limiting, secure hosting practices, software updates, and backups.
No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for choosing what information to send and for using a secure method when sharing confidential project credentials or sensitive materials.
09
Cookies, logs, and analytics
The website may use strictly necessary storage or similar technologies required for security, preference handling, or core functionality. Hosting providers may also create standard server logs.
The website currently loads font files through Google Fonts. When your browser requests those files, Google may receive standard connection information such as your IP address, browser details, and the requested resource. Google handles that information under its own privacy terms.
We may use analytics to understand aggregate website usage and improve the site. Where applicable law requires consent before non-essential analytics cookies or similar technologies are used, those technologies should not be activated until the required choice has been provided.
We do not use this website for behavioral advertising or to sell visitor profiles. This policy will be updated if our use of analytics, cookies, or advertising technologies materially changes.
10

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to:
